Bot Store
You can access Bot Store from the Control Room. From Bot Store, you can download bots or packages to your Control Room repository.
There are two ways for you to get bots and packages from Bot Store into your Control Room:
- You can load items directly from Bot Store to your Control Room, without needing to download the items locally. For details, see Directly import bots and packages from Bot Store to Control Room.
- You can download items from Bot Store locally, then import them to your Control Room, even if your Control Room is not connected to the internet. For details, see Download locally and import bots and packages from Bot Store to Control Room.
Important:
Bot Store is a platform where developers share reusable code with each other. It is a valuable resource for getting reusable assets and draft code to accelerate your development process. Apply the same caution and review process to using code from Bot Store that you would for any other code sharing site.
- Community support only: Assets available in the Bot Store are not officially supported through Automation Anywhere Support. For assistance, use community forums (Automation Anywhere Community).
- Source code access: The source code for some assets is provided, enabling review and modification.
- Code review: These assets are designed as templates that can be modified for your use case. Always review the functionality and security to ensure they meet your requirements.
- Pre-production testing: As with any other new code or automation, thorough testing in non-production environments is crucial before deploying these assets in production.
- Native capabilities: Popular Bot Store automations are often turned into natively supported platform capabilities, so consider migrating to those capabilities when appropriate.
